A stone’s throw from the European Quarter in Brussels, B2Ai architects have breathed new life into an iconic office building with Montgomery Parc. The former RIZIV/INAMI complex on Montgomery Square underwent an extensive transformation in which preservation, circularity, biodiversity and well-being took centre stage. Today, the site forms a green office campus that combines workspaces with room for interaction and relaxation.

With The Waves, B2Ai architects deliver a distinctive residential development on Troonstraat in Ostend, within walking distance of the seafront and in immediate proximity to the Wellington racecourse and golf course. What has now been completed is more than a housing development: four organically shaped volumes that meander along Troonstraat and naturally embed themselves in both the urban fabric and the coastal landscape.

With The Arch, B2Ai delivers an exceptional circular office renovation on the edge of the Brussels North District. The office building, originally constructed in the 1990s, has been redesigned as an open, inviting and future-proof urban building. By introducing public functions at ground level, The Arch marks an important step in the district’s transformation into a mixed and vibrant urban neighbourhood.

The historic Leopold Barracks in Ghent has undergone a profound transformation in recent years, evolving from a 19th-century military bastion into an open urban district. What was once a closed enclave is now an inviting urban quarter where public facilities, housing, work and social interaction come together around a new green neighbourhood park.

Roelevard is a mixed-use development, including apartments, offices, commercial spaces and an underground parking facility, that transforms the old railway station district in the historic city of Roeselare in Belgium. The buildings are recreating the area that used to be divided by the rail line into a vibrant work and living environment with new connecting points.

In the multicultural neighbourhood surrounding the West Station in Sint-Jans-Molenbeek, the Egied Van Broeckhoven School has opened in the former bottling plant of the Vandenheuvel brewery. With this circular renovation and new construction project, the architects of B2Ai have realised the ambitions of the school, centred on sustainability, smart infrastructure and community connection.

The completion of the Westwing Tower marks the symbolic culmination of the Westwing Park business complex along the E403 in Roeselare: one of the tallest office towers in West Flanders. Both the tower and the park embody the integrated vision of B2Ai, where urban planning, architecture, engineering, and interior design are meticulously intertwined.

Over the past few years, the area around the Elindus Arena, located between the Regenboogpark and the southern inner ring of Waregem, has undergone a spectacular transformation. Under the name Waterfront , B2Ai and Wielfaert architects have reshaped this unassigned area into a vibrant new urban district that combines a mix of functions.

B2Ai is a multidisciplinary team of 140 architects, engineers, interior designers and urban planners in Brussels, Ghent, Roeselare and Antwerp working together to build a sustainable society with a particular focus on people and the environment.
Under the motto ‘You challenge, we rethink, together we create’, the team is committed to creating added value for people, society, nature and climate. In every project, whatever the scale, the strengths and limitations of the context and the programme are thoroughly researched and translated into powerful concepts. The office has expertise and references in centres for (health)care, sports and culture, schools, offices, commercial, residential, mixed-use, and urban planning projects across Belgium and abroad.
B2Ai is currently working on a wide range of projects, including NATO ‘Supreme Headquarters Allied Powers Europe (SHAPE)’ near Mons, and ‘Montgomery Parc’ European Commission offices in Brussels. Recently completed works include award-winning projects Egied Van Broeckhoven School in Brussels, ‘Roelevard’ revitalisation of the railway station district in Roeselare, Waterfront residential towers in Waregem, and Westwing office tower in Roeselare.
