Space is a near inexhaustible source of inspiration and fascination, shaped by human hands. Our team often encounters urban environments which we map in all their complexity, across administrative boundaries. B2Ai possesses the expertise to develop smart strategic spatial proposals for the future of our cities. One question often asked is how the wishes of citizens, business leaders and administrators and the abstract analyses, theories and narratives of sociologists, economists, planners, traffic engineers and those in similar disciplines can be translated into practical, meaningful master plans.
The Urban planning department also offers its services independently, separately from B2Ai’s primary mission as architects, to other architects, project owners and authorities.
Our discourse gives consideration to every scale: from street, neighbourhood, district, municipality to metropolitan region. How will the future project affect its environment? How can a project add value for the different interest groups? Currently we are seeing a shift in the role and tasks of the urban planner. We are working more integrally, more globally, and with multiple players. Through this breadth and depth approach, B2Ai creates valuable and sustainable master plans for tomorrow’s new urban culture.
