We have designed three apartment buildings around a communal courtyard alongside the busy Ostendse Steenweg in Bruges. Since the size and price of the housing units vary greatly, we’ll make it possible to create a  mix of residents. They will not only appreciate the privacy of their own apartment, but also the safe surroundings of the entire residential project.

In this project, you can choose from a wide range of products, with room for privacy and social contact for everyone.

Peaceful living around the garden
Odebrecht consists of three volumes of three to four storeys high arranged around a courtyard garden. Residents reach their apartment through that garden, making it an open environment suited for spontaneous encounters, away from the busy road. The good accessibility of the bicycle sheds via the courtyard garden and the connecting paths encourage use of bicycles. Three intersections between the volumes offer a view of the surroundings and open up the entire project.

Easy parking from the street
Traffic to the groundfloor and underground residents’ car park is kept on the street side in order to preserve the peace and quiet of the courtyard garden. The underground car park consists of 30 garage boxes and 65 open spaces.

Variation is an asset in terms of types of living and working
On the ground floor, professional spaces of all kinds will be created: services, sole proprietorships, retail, offices, etc. This variation is also reflected in the size, price, and number of bedrooms in the apartments, which attracts different occupancy profiles, naturally. The apartments are all very efficiently arranged with special attention to accessibility. The generous natural light and the private patios give the quality of life in the project even more brilliance.

Studied design and landscaping
WADI’s and reed beds are planted to combat possible flooding. They also provide the necessary privacy and a subtle transition from the (semi-)public to private terrain. There are also some subtle, attractive accents planned for playing and relaxation, respecting the tranquillity of the garden and the privacy of the homes.
