B2Ai architects won a Design & Build competition for the new GO! STrEaM campus Groot Schijn in Deurne. The project merges 2 schools into 1 new building and also includes the renovation of the existing main building on site. Primary school ‘Trampoline’ creates a sense of collectivity and security tailored to the needs of children. Secondary school ‘Spectrum’ combines an efficient, thought out lay-out with urban spaciousness.
This design is a milestone in an interesting journey that leads to a new place where every child, from toddler to teenager, can prepare for its future. Surrounding the building four green playgrounds are implemented. This way the innovative project blends in with the neighbouring Park Groot Schijn. The consortium consists of B2Ai, B&R development, Strabag, Brebuild and Hooyberghs, Stramien, SDKE and Daidalos.
