First spade dig for new municipal school on Hippodrome site in Kuurne

Monday September 26^th was the symbolic first spade dig for the new municipal school on the Hippodrome site in Kuurne. The school aspires to a new building in which the current schools Pienter and Wijzer can merge on one site. It will be a sustainable, future-oriented school with a multi-purpose sports hall. From September 2024, every child, from toddler to teenager, can prepare for their future here. The Municipality of Kuurne is realising this project with the construction team of B2Ai architects, Alheembouw, Bureau De Fonseca and landscape architect Stefaan Thiers.
