Last week, our CEO Pieterjan Vermoortel and partner-architect Simon Claeys visited New York as part of a trade mission to the United States. B2Ai architects is particularly proud to be part of the largest Belgian Economic Mission #BEmissionUSA ever to the USA, organized by hub.brussels. In the presence of Princess Astrid, Flemish Prime Minister Jan Jambon and Brussels State Secretary Pascal Smet and others, the group of entrepreneurs visited Atlanta, New York and Boston. Pieterjan and Simon joined the events and lectures organised in New York.
Simon Claeys shared his expertise in two lectures about “Shaping our future” and “Common pitfalls in retrofitting high rise buildings”. He also took part in the panel discussion: “The case of Two Inspiring Cities: New York and Brussels, Exchange of Best Practices on the Economic Transition towards Cities for the People”.
