A challenging job with many responsibilities.
I started out as a designer at B2Ai, advanced to senior project architect and was promoted to head of the practice in Brussels. A challenging job with many responsibilities and your own input. You get the chance to work independently within the overall framework of the agency. Plenty of career-oriented opportunities for growth are on offer.
Every working day is different, varied work in a friendly, collaborative environment with excellent colleagues who are each unique in terms of background, knowledge and interests. An exciting interaction has developed between our in-house architecture, interior design, master planning and engineering departments. Because of the agency’s scale, we work on a wide variety of projects across Belgium and beyond.

A great agency for your first steps as an architect.
I chose B2Ai because of the major projects. Competitions that involve a certain complexity and layering; that’s what I like working on as an architect. In the design team, you get time to research and design a project with a vision, thoroughly. That allows you to use your creativity and explore concepts. Then there are workshops, where we look at each other’s designs and brainstorm them. As a trainee, these are educational moments.
Besides work, you will get to know the team well on architectural trips, at architecture cafes, on team building exercises, at after-work drinks or simply over a game of table football. Colleagues become friends. Which makes the workplace still more congenial. All this means that I am still more than happy to have chosen B2Ai. A great agency to take your first steps as a trainee architect. (p.s. – pay for trainees is definitely an advantage too).

B2Ai is an agency with an impressive portfolio. With the variety of projects, no two days are ever the same. The challenging projects appeal to me. Personally, I like working here because of the autonomy and responsibilities you get. The diversity of your colleagues’ profiles and experience also ensures that you always have a sounding board. B2Ai has such a diverse range of projects that you can expand or refine your knowledge within specific fields. Our portfolio features both large and small projects, so you can always find the right challenge.
Our offices in Brussels, Ghent and Roeselare are easily accessible making them a good base for a project architect to visit the various sites. Despite its size, B2Ai has remained an agency with a friendly atmosphere. Good collaboration and the many events that are organised contribute to this.
