At B2Ai Architects innovation is a key aspect of our operation that allows us to meet future challenges. BIM (Building Information Modelling) and all the new developments that can be linked to it are our driving force for maximum quality and efficiency in all the disciplines we offer, from feasibility study through to site operations. Each department has a BIM coordinator who specialises in the discipline and specific topics. The coordinator is also responsible for maximising team know-how.
Alongside the overall BIM manager, B2Ai architects has a BIM Process Developer to develop and implement innovative routines. Shared know-how is the key to flexible collaboration. Through our high-level BIM collaborations with other practices and BIM consulting firms at the top of the BIM field nationally and internationally, we have developed substantial maturity concerning BIM and are keeping up with all the latest BIM developments. From experience we have learned that a big closed BIM collaboration (using Autodesk products) is the best practice, which does not exclude other collaborations. B2Ai was involved in the creation of the Belgian BIM protocol and is a member of the Belgian Digital Construction cluster (previously known as the BIM cluster) at the BBRI.
