Une attention particuli\u00e8re est port\u00e9e \u00e0 la nouvelle r\u00e9glementation concernant la sensibilit\u00e9 des zones b\u00e2ties aux inondations. Sur le plan de la durabilit\u00e9, l&#8217;ambition est de chauffer l&#8217;ensemble du quartier via un syst\u00e8me de chauffage collectif utilisant la g\u00e9othermie, en collaboration avec Energent. Un r\u00e9seau de routes parall\u00e8les et perpendiculaires d\u00e9finira trois zones r\u00e9sidentielles distinctes, chacune dot\u00e9e de jardins collectifs verdoyants en leur centre. Cela est rendu possible gr\u00e2ce \u00e0 la cr\u00e9ation de deux parkings souterrains \u00e0 l&#8217;entr\u00e9e du site et \u00e0 l\u2019interdiction de la circulation de transit.<\/p>\n<p>Les abris \u00e0 v\u00e9los seront am\u00e9nag\u00e9s en surface sur des terrains priv\u00e9s pour chaque zone r\u00e9sidentielle et situ\u00e9s \u00e0 proximit\u00e9 des logements concern\u00e9s. Chaque abri \u00e0 v\u00e9los sera directement accessible depuis la rue et prendra en compte les v\u00e9los de grande taille. De plus, plusieurs abris \u00e0 v\u00e9los seront r\u00e9partis sur l&#8217;ensemble du site pour les visiteurs des logements ou des facilit\u00e9s du quartier.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Un caract\u00e8re villageois<br \/>\n<\/strong>Les toits en pente et la hauteur limit\u00e9e des corniches des b\u00e2timents s&#8217;harmonisent avec le caract\u00e8re villageois de l&#8217;environnement. Des volumes de construction plus grands et plus \u00e9lev\u00e9s seront positionn\u00e9s en tant qu&#8217;accents de hauteur (jusqu&#8217;\u00e0 quatre \u00e9tages) au niveau de la Meerhoutstraat et de l&#8217;angle avec l&#8217;Eksaardserijweg. Les constructions le long de la Sint-Arnoutstraat resteront \u00e0 petite \u00e9chelle et s&#8217;adapteront \u00e0 la taille des maisons voisines.
