Perpendiculairement \u00e0 celle-ci, appartements sont am\u00e9nag\u00e9s dans les deux b\u00e2timents historiques bordant la place d\u2019armes. Nouvelles maisons de ville compl\u00e8tent le programme r\u00e9sidentiel le long des rues Eekhout et Kattenberg. Un patio en contrebas, situ\u00e9 au centre de la place, accueille des ateliers et des fonctions logistiques, avec en dessous un parking souterrain \u00e0 plusieurs niveaux. Le site comprend en outre des bureaux, des salles de cours et une cr\u00e8che, tous int\u00e9gr\u00e9s dans les structures existantes.<\/p>\n<p>Plusieurs espaces verts forment le c\u0153ur vivant du projet. La Paradeplein (place d\u2019armes) v\u00e9g\u00e9talis\u00e9e occupe une position centrale et constitue l\u2019une des interventions majeures du projet. Les anciens espaces min\u00e9ralis\u00e9s ont \u00e9t\u00e9 transform\u00e9s en une chambre urbaine apaisante, utilis\u00e9e par les habitants, les clients de l\u2019h\u00f4tel, les passants et les collaborateurs de la Province. Le long des ailes r\u00e9sidentielles, deux jardins collectifs, situ\u00e9s entre les b\u00e2timents historiques et les nouvelles maisons au sol, cr\u00e9ent des zones vertes interm\u00e9diaires favorisant la rencontre.
